Summary - My website is for the purpose of promoting my ear care services and to provide contact information for visitors, we do not download any cookies or collect any information from your session, except session / traffic data for statical purpose only (Google Analytics). To enquire or request my service you may contact me via the internet or by phone, data we collect from you at that point will be for the purpose of providing you such a service and may be classed as personal information (under the UK GDPR & the Data Protection Act 2018), therefore we would like to give you the assurance that any data we collect from you will be kept safe and secure.

Under data protection law you have the right to change or withdraw your consent and to request details of any personal data that we hold about you.

Where we have no legitimate reason to continue to hold you information, we would remove them securely from our systems.

You have the right to be forgotten, to exercise this right please contact me via email, please note that we may need to confirm identity before any such action is carried out.

We only collect personal information that you provide for the purpose of communication for services which you have requested from me, and where appropriate as a reminder for services due, or appointment changes, but only for services we provide to you directly. What personal information we collect - We may collect personal information including your name, address, date of birth, telephone number and email address. Where necessary to provide treatment safely, we may also collect health information including details of medical conditions, medications being taken, GP details, treatment records and consent forms.

How we collect it - Either directly or via incoming email / telephone

What we use it for - To provide the service that you have requested, and to offer further services which may be of interest directly from us.

How we keep it secure - Electronic records are stored on password-protected devices and accounts. Paper records, including consent and treatment forms, are kept in a secure location with access restricted to authorised persons. Records are retained only for as long as necessary and are securely destroyed when no longer required.

Whether we share it with third parties - We do not pass on your information to any 3rd party beyond complying with the UK legal and regulatory requirements (under the UK GDPR & the Data Protection Act 2018).

Website analytics – Our web pages may use Google analytics to collect data on web traffic, no personal data is collected for any other reason beside traffic statistics.

What are your data rights? - You have specific legal rights granted by data protection law which you can exercise at any time. We will handle any request submitted to us in accordance with the law. This means there may be legal reasons why we cannot fulfil all requests.

Right to restriction: In some circumstances, you may obtain from us restriction of processing of your personal information.

Right to portability: You have the right to request that we transmit your personal information (that you have provided to us) to another organisation (data portability).

Right to object: You may object to the processing of your personal information, when it is based on our legitimate interests or those of a third party.
